Our team is composed of 7 members, which are 6 finnish students and 1 Spanish. We are studying in Laurea university, working with My HID on a new service by testing and helping the client to develop it, while at the same time providing valuable information.
In the first part of the project, there was a briefing about the business and the product under development, we discussed different topics such as security, software, GDPR and the visual aspect of the client website.
As said before our role in this project is to test and help to improve the service. The service is a platform for storing, organizing and sharing information related to properties, though it is not limited to be used for that kind of information only. The client intends to integrate other features, such as ability to pay services, to the platform.
During the last three months we have been trying to detect (new) issues in the test version of the platform, so the client can solve them. (One noteworthy flaw we found was that there was a possibility to create many accounts to the platform with the same email adress if using different combinations of capital and lowercase letters.)
Meanwhile, we have been doing queries to study the potential customer experience by using some of our personal contacts. The company has intention of expanding the service to other countries in the near future, we searched for competitors and the requirements regarding housing in Spain.
