At the start of our project we were a little confused. What should we do? The task was to brand Laurea Hyvinkää’s project learning model, P2P, into sellable product. Our team confirmed a fact, that name “P2P” doesn’t really tell anyone, what it basically is about. Many of students who had applied to P2P didn’t know what it was until they did their first projects. It was hard to describe it for companies, too.
We began to brainstorm what could be better option for a name, after making research about customer satisfaction, benchmarking other universities offering similar products and writing theory bases about marketing and branding as general.
As a result of brainstorming, we ended up inventing a new marketing name and unique sales points (USPs) for Laurea P2P. Our client, Laurea University of Applied sciences was very pleased on our findings and the team hopes that the results will be usable in the future!
Our international team, which consists two Spanish exchange students and five Finnish students, thanks Laurea University of Applied Sciences for a great chance to be part of building their brand and image.
