My name is Katja Mattila, a 32 year old student from Espoo. I am studying a degree in Social Services at Laurea University of Applied Sciences in Tikkurila. My main aim is to be able to help people when I graduate. I am interested in working at child protection services or organizations trying to make a change in the society.
I’m Miikka Toroi, a 28 year old social service student from Laurea Tikkurila. I aim to work with the youth after graduating and arrange all kinds of fun things for them to do.
I am Anne Junnila, a 34-year-old single mom of 2 kids from Espoo. I study social services at Laurea. I have quite a lot of work experience in child protection and that’s what I want to keep doing when I graduate. I try to encounter new people with empathy and try to listen to them with an open mind.
We are all very excited as a group to be writing about this subject that is close to our hearts. We feel that everyone should feel included in this society.
